Review on 🌲 Mystical Adventures: Briar Coloring Book for All Ages! by Juanita Vipond

Great coloring book with nice thick paper + hand drawn picture at the end. Absolute winner!

The last time I bought this coloring book was from the US store. Received it this morning and am very excited at the size and quality level of the art and printing. As a professional gemologist, I was delighted to find jewelry designs as well as full page line art to draw with. A book containing my 2 joys in life - an unexpected high! It was created in the UK in 2017 so my next hunt will be to find more specimens there. I bought the last current copy listed here in the first week of January 2021 and I'm sorry I didn't find it sooner as it's definitely worth 2 or 3 copies; 1 vacation, 1 tie and 1 tie with the new art media. At the end of the book are 10 full color drawings by the artist. It is slightly larger than the US standard 8.5" x 11" - 8.25" x 11.75", with quality paper and beautiful illustrations. Each design has some detail but not overly detailed so you can paint the entire bush the same color and it will look great with black lines showing through most art materials. If you like to color in every detail (like me) this has been a joy so far! The full page design leaves little space for those who want to cut out each page. There is no perforation, but you can buy a very handy device that has a small metal wheel with tiny blades that you can run along the inside edge of each book that will perforate the page you want to cut out. I think there is also enough space for those who like to take their spiral bound coloring books with them. The artwork strikes me as a combination of Celtic myths, Arthurian legends, medieval manuscripts and magical creatures. Plus jewelry design on opposite cover. Haven't tried all the pages yet, but so far nothing has bled through the paper or left a shadow to keep the design from messing up. Highly recommended for all ages (I'm 50+) and abilities as a beautiful piece of art should please everyone.
