Least expensive gooseneck electric kettle I could find.lolWith that being said, it's pretty nice. It's small good looking and small capacity which is what I was looking for. Has a small base which is what I was looking for as well.I do wish it had a temperature gauge and a small window that lets you see fill level. But hey once again cheapest I could find.The lid fitswell and has small ports to release steam pressure. Keep in mind this type of kettle is not meant to be tipped over fully. The lid will not prevent liquid from coming out as it's basically metal on metal.As you can imagine without a temperature gauge, you're left to guess as to how hot this thing really gets water. Some people claim that they have measured it and it does bring water temperature up to optimal for pour over coffee.Others claim they have measured it and it does not. Because of the features it lacks such as a base with a digital display or a built-in temperature gauge it is a gamble.There's not much to say beyond that.But for my needs it was a good purchase.
