The update to this review is that this company stands behind their product. I contacted Lumberjack directly via email, they emailed me back within 2 hours. After I gave them a mailing address, a replacement was mailed and I re-saved it within a week or so (quick for Alaska). I will be using the recommendations from sharpening companies behind the blade to better match the blades and hopefully reduce slippage between the two metals. So I was excited about this purchase. I ordered it and shortly thereafter I went and chopped up some small logs to dry. I was getting nervous and today I decided to try my new toy. The wood was still damp so my expectations for a clean cut were low. It actually cuts wet wood relatively well. On the 4th leg of a small chair I was making for my boy-to-be, I noticed that one of the blades had shifted. When Whemi tried to tighten it, the screw just turned freely in what should have been a threaded hole. In any case, all the threads have been torn off and now I have to either buy a new $100 bit or figure out how to thread the existing hole. I'm giving it 2 stars because I think I got a lemon and if not it would be a great tool but for now it's the weight of the paper.
