Problems installing 4Runner

I have a 2015 Toyota 4Runner. The barrier fits well, but not great. I saw in the instructions that it doesn't fit the 2018 4Runner, which alarmed me. I installed the barrier and found that it was very tight due to the center seat belt pretensioner when trying to attach the bar to the passenger's right headrest. I was able to lock it, but I had to push the headrest very hard to lock it. I also had to remove the center seat headrest. Also, by design, the barrier tends to creak with movement. Overall this appears to be a decent product.
