My laptop was short on USB ports and adding this device helped turn a USB hub into 7. I love these USB hubs so much I bought a second one for my home PC. . The best thing about the USB splitter is that each port has an on/off switch. It helps because someone is using my headset and camera for meetings. When I want to use my laptop's speaker, I just disable that port instead of unplugging my headset. The same with the camera. I turn off the camera when I'm not using it and turn on the camera's USB port when necessary. I used to remodel the camera, but now I can just use it. The quality of the USB 2.0 HUB looks good. Comes in a very nice packaging.
