I love that it has adjustable weight settings as my cats are 2 very different sizes and I bought a collar for each. The bell is great as they were rescue kittens and hid a lot initially so the bell let me know where they were and when they were moving. The collar is reflective which made it easier for me to see if they were hiding under furniture when I couldn't find them. It took them a week or two to get used to the bell, but it sounds more like a chime or chime than many other bell collars, so they weren't as upset by it as they might have been. So far the collars haven't snagged or snagged on anything, so I think the tear-off tab is pretty solid. A note: one of my cats has quite sensitive skin and doesn't like the collar because there is a stitching in one place that irritates him and he scratches quite a bit. After a few months it may appear to be developing thicker skin as this is less of a concern, but you should be aware of this if you have a kitten with sensitive skin.
