Handy accessory set and comfortable grip

BLACK+DECKER BDHT68003 7-Bit Push-and-Pick ScrewdriverA colorful multi-purpose black/orange screwdriver is economically packaged in a plain brown, recyclable cardboard box. In the box you have very basic content, just a screwdriver in a plastic bag. There are no instructions, although everything is very simple. The screwdriver handle is larger than most screwdrivers, almost solid as it contains extra screwdriver bits. I like the big handle because it's easy to grab when you have a screw that's very tight and you need to apply some pressure. The screwdriver comes with one of the seven included bits already installed in a magnetic holder on the front of the screwdriver, the other six screwdriver bits are held in slots in the handle that won't pop open until you push them from the back with an attachment , which is already in the driver. Reminds me of the pencils we had at school, when the stem wore out you could pull it out, stick it in the back of a mechanical pencil and push out the new stem. It's the same principle here, except you slide out the other tip of the screwdriver. Unfortunately, you can't really tell which screwdriver tip is which until you poke it out a bit. On the side of the driver holder you can see that the bit is in its slot, but you can't see what it means to push it out a little. The screwdriver comes with Philips #1 and #2 bits, large and medium flat bits, and three different sizes of square shanks. I think this would be a good screwdriver for a lightweight multi tool as you have so many different screwdriver options in one tool. I put it in my tool bag so I have a combo of the most commonly used tools around the house.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
