Bought these for our painted wood front steps and they work great. It was quite slippery in front of our stairs. With their addition, traction is created and you no longer have to hold on to dear life on your way up or down. One thing to keep in mind is that they don't stick by themselves. You must nail or screw them to the ladder. Definitely recommend!
