I bought them for camping, we go on long hikes and we have two small children. I'm also breastfeeding (so I drink a lot of water) and have to go for walks often. The first thing I noticed was that the hole is quite small for a woman. It worked, but the positioning of this thing isn't discreet! The second (big) issue is that while they hold quite a bit of liquid and are actually airtight, it takes some time for the liquid to soak into the gel, meaning you have to be mindful of the amount you're packing the bag before Absorption. It's difficult because the bag is pink. It's easy to pour. I speak from experience. Very bad experience. This is a plus, hence the 3 star rating. It works out. Finally! You just have to be aware of the downsides. The package advises to use this if stuck in traffic, although I definitely don't see it happening, you could certainly use this if there's a semi-private place to find it properly and check the fluid level. This works great for kids! My kids were happy on the trail all day with no complaints.
