Review on ๐Ÿ”ช QEP 6-7006GLQ: 7-Inch Glass Tile Diamond Blade โ€“ Ultimate Precision for Wet Cutting, 7mm Rim Height, 5/8-Inch Arbor, 8730 Max RPM by John Langdon

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very short life Cutting 1 " glass

I made 6 cuts through a block of 1" glass and the blade stopped cutting (diamonds lost). There was no overheating or internal sparking during cutting, so I can only conclude that the diamond bond on the blade is not up to standard. By the way, I've been a glass engineer for 12 years and I know when a glass cutting blade is mishandled or fed too quickly causing overheating. In this case this did not happen. I replaced it with an MK glass blade and can now easily make up to 40 cuts through the same 1" thick glass. Don't buy this blade for heavy glass cutting! Molten glass artists

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
