Regular Project Bag

This open top bag features two internal open thread pockets, a large main compartment and an external zippered pocket. Two eyelets on either side of the front of the bag allow thread to be pulled through. The outside of the bag is made of light canvas and the inside is made of very light cotton poplin. Benefits * External zip pocket to prevent small tools and stitch markers from falling out. * Eyelets can help prevent tangling when working with multiple balls of yarn. * Internal open pockets prevent item from falling out of pocket when not knitted. * Small size fits most needles and fits most accessories. A 50g thread and two 6 inch gloves fit easily in the main compartment. DPN, 4.5" x 6.5" notepad and pen. The zip pocket has room for a bottle of tapestry needles, small scissors, lip balm and stitch markers. There's room for more, but no way to organize it in the bag, so adding more will likely just create more chaos. * The grip allows the knitter to knit while standing. * Inexpensive. Cons * No way to close the main compartment, anything put in the main compartment or yarn pockets can fall out. * Internal yarn pockets consist of a single layer of lining material. Because the top of the bag is hemmed, smaller pins can get caught in the hem. Any sharp objects B. sharp scissors or very thin metal rods are more likely to cut a hole in the lining material. * The design seems flimsy. While the photos show the bag by itself, it's actually too thin and flexible for that. * Finishing takes work. There are quite a lot of protruding threads along the seams, and noticeable folds in the place where the zipper is attached. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to carry a small item that risks not being accidentally discarded, and regardless of whether the bag can stand on its own, this isn't a bad choice. If you're looking for something that tops off, has sensible internal organization, stands on its own, or is built to last, then this bag isn't for you. It does not matter, that the bag can stand alone, that's a good choice. If you're looking for something that tops off, has sensible internal organization, stands on its own, or is solid, then this bag isn't for you.
