Review on ๐Ÿงฉ The Magnetic Puzzles of The Purple Cow by Brion Pine

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It fits, but I won't buy it again

2.5 stars. It would be a good choice if the puzzles were better. Instead of being a puzzle based on animals and their houses, this is more of a puzzle based on matching the color of the ground and sky for both sides. Please see the picture. For example, do sheep go in the stall or in the stall? A bird doesn't belong in a tree - it belongs in a nest. And when a cow is mated to a cowshedโ€”not a stall. No stable. And certainly not a kennel that, if you can't read, looks like a barn. My 5 year old can do this by putting two pieces together and then rearranging them when he figures out the rest of the piece doesn't have a free logical pair and such. must be wrong. To be honest, I do too. My 2.5 year old, who can use other matching games, couldn't understand the logic and gave up. The rest of the case is thin but metallic enough to hold everything together nicely. The pieces themselves are colorful and a good size, but are made from fairly light cardboard. (Do not get wet.) *The missing detail in the photo is my kids fault. He came with a set but they decided to play pirate treasure with the pieces and one of them never came back...
