Review on πŸš— Enhanced Roadmaster 9400 Even Brake System for Improved Performance and Efficiency by Alex Tilden

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The brake lights are powered by the tractor, not the boat, so there's no good reason to hardwire this to the.

Only problems.1. The main unit is powered by a cheap screw-tipped cigarette lighter plug. If you don't check the tip every time, it will come off and you'll lose the metal tip. There is a fuse inside, but the book doesn't say which one to use, just what the car needs for the outlet.2. The transmitter unit must be hardwired. WHY? The brake lights are powered by the tractor and not the boat, so there's no good reason to hardwire them to the vehicle.3. Why use a transmitter at all? You already need to connect a hitch, two tethers, an electrical cable and a release strap, so why not add one more for the tractor's straight wire indicator box? If there is any interference with the radio signal, you will receive an alarm and the system will shut down. Which often happens to me. IMHO the main disadvantage of the system is the transmitter, but the hardwire option is not available. If it were available I would buy it immediately and ditch the radio system.4. It's good for the show if you get stopped by the police, but if I had to do it again I'd opt for a more positive control system, like connecting to my air brake system.

Pros

Cons
