After four to five (hand) washes, practically all measuring lines are erased. Considering that the main function of this product is to measure things, I would say that's a big con! Otherwise it works pretty much as advertised. I wish it was a little sturdier, but I don't think a product with a similar design can do anything about it. I've noticed that when measuring something semi-solid, such as B. Shortening, the outer tube tends to move up or down a little, pushing the material into the cracks. I found it helpful to hold it steady while filling through the plastic tube.
