Purchased this after trying a few other wireless OBD devices only to find that an additional software purchase or subscription was required to get meaningful data receive. It actually gave me enough interesting data that I left it hooked up to my 2008 Lincoln MKX for a few days. During this time, my keyless entry (i.e. remote key) started to work intermittently - intermittently and at varying distances from the car - and eventually stopped working altogether. I tried several keys, changed the batteries in the keys etc and finally made an appointment with the dealer. I never connected the OBD device to the locks until I removed the OBD for some other reason and keyless entry and remote start didn't work again. I tested it several times for the result; I googled it and there doesn't seem to be any record of it, so maybe it's just me. Just a word of warning - this is a good device and I would buy it again, just wanted to let the mystery out for anyone who might come across it.
