Review on High Quality Dynasty Hardware Push Bar Panic Exit Device in Durable Aluminum Construction by Kyle Whitehead

Hands off, hands off, hands off this product! He ruined my door!

Instructions and template for drilling and cutting Screws are WRONG and ruined my door! (SEE PHOTO) 2 Approvals: 1. The template says to drill a 7/32" hole and tap a tap for 1/4-20 screws, which I did. The screws provided are NOT SAE, THEY ARE METRIC, so I went to the HW shop to get new 1/4"x 20" screws..2.The template doesn't match the product.WHO INCLUDES THE DRILLING PATTERN THAT DOESN'T MATCH THE PRODUCT!So now the door is drilled and for the product that does not fit properly, drilled and tapped with a 1/4" x 20 screw. The metric screws are too small for the threaded hole. You can see in the template photo that the top left screw hole lines up and each of the other three holes are 1/8" to about 1/4" off! The whole point of the template is making sure it's in the RIGHT place, amazing. The only thing I can do is that this product was designed in the USA and shipped to China for production and they printed the drilling jig in the wrong scale and also included metric screws instead of the US SAE 1/4 x 20 screws advertised Complete nonsense!
