Radio suitable for AM and FM. But at that price, you're buying a radio for NOAA alerts and listening to regular broadcasts. I live in an area with numerous NOAA stations within walking distance. When I listen to my local station, a second one starts and spills over on the frequency I'm tuned into, making it very difficult to understand the broadcast. If you live where the stations are farther apart, you may feel more comfortable. I have a more expensive radio that doesn't do this, so I know the radio is the problem. I do not recommend.
