Wow doctor. This is a very handy tool. But my goodness, the ruler looks very solid in Revane's photos. When you come home, hey. it's weak Now it can't be 1/8th steel because the thickness will affect the accuracy of the measurements. You need thin metal. But it's slightly thicker and stronger than a sheet of foil (just a slight exaggeration). However, I like this tool. It is well made and will provide years of accurate measurements in the wood shop. You'll need a mechanical pencil to mark the dimensions, so it's meant for finished wood (not that you want to use it for raw stock).
