Review on πŸ“ 12 Inch Precision Marking T Rule: The Ultimate Tool for Accurate Measurements by Vladimir Castillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good tool but weak

Wow doctor. This is a very handy tool. But my goodness, the ruler looks very solid in Revane's photos. When you come home, hey. it's weak Now it can't be 1/8th steel because the thickness will affect the accuracy of the measurements. You need thin metal. But it's slightly thicker and stronger than a sheet of foil (just a slight exaggeration). However, I like this tool. It is well made and will provide years of accurate measurements in the wood shop. You'll need a mechanical pencil to mark the dimensions, so it's meant for finished wood (not that you want to use it for raw stock). Buy with confidence but make sure you have storage space as this is a delicate instrument. You can easily break the rule. If this was helpful, please click the button.

Pros
  • Small holes and marker slots at each scale position 1/16, 1/32 and 1/64 inch
Cons
  • Poor repairability
