I bought this camera to mount on the back of my Jayco 28BHBE before going on a long trip. I tried mounting this on a raised mount above the spare tire but the vibration was too much for the camera; Moving the camera to the bumper solved this problem. Routing the cable was easy and more than adequate for both trucks and trailers. I made a mount for the screen so it can be placed between the seats of my F250 - out of direct sunlight. Upon request, the seller will send you an additional suction cup free of charge. Everything is fine on the street. The image on the screen is not as clear as my Ford OEM backup camera, but I can turn this screen on and off with a push of a button on the included power adapter. One of the disadvantages of this system is the lack of reference lines. Proping up the RV means you can't see the edges of the RV, so you don't have a reference point to compare the trailer to things (trees, driveway, etc.) in the camera's field of view. This is not a plug and play camera, but it is fairly easy to install. Power and ground for the camera are in the video cable. The included 12V cigarette lighter adapter makes it easy to power the display and camera together. The camera head is not compatible with Furrion mounts, but a good alternative for the price.
