Review on 🍲 ExcelSteel Food Mill: Achieve Versatile Textures in Soups, Sauces, and Foods with 3 Grinding Sizes by Kimberly Banks

More work than necessary. Not worth the trouble.

I bought this grinder to make my own tomato sauce. I use plum tomatoes instead of already chopped tomatoes. To my surprise, I found this windmill unstable and uncomfortable when trying to use it. The grinder is balanced by just two handles. He slides around. The grinder I used many years ago had three legs with rubber pads for durability. This mill also made a mess. He sprayed tiny drops of gravy within three feet. I spin it at slow to medium speed. The tomatoes kept getting stuck under the pole holding the handle. I return to my blender, where I manually squeeze out the water and shred the flesh of the tomato in the blender.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are some nuances
