I've been using the Melitta watering method for years. I became interested in other things that go into making the perfect cup, like controlled pouring and temperature, and the right beans and grind size. I was thinking of a gooseneck electric kettle, but decided on a simpler and cheaper model. OPUX is reliable, attractive and efficient. The only improvement I could think of would be to put a small pamphlet in the box detailing the pouring method for beginners. But it's only Google. In the future I might look for a bigger kettle so it can serve four or more people. For now it helps and it's perfect for my needs
