Medium pads and tools. You MUST use the slowest speed and apply ONLY light pressure and DO NOT attempt to use just the tips of the triangle. Tool will disintegrate with prolonged use OR brief, heavy pressure. The pads hardly stick to the instrument. They're fine as long as you keep the pad completely flat, but lift it all the way to the top and the pad will start vibrating. The mesh on the pads also barely fits and comes off the paper fairly easily, you're not going to shoot down a 60 grit and go to 100 and then successfully reuse 60. All in all good. for a little light work. Not professional quality but worth it, no problem, recommend buying if you understand the limitations. I probably spent 20 minutes with the first tool and used about 4 80 grit pads. I wish the pads were either color coded or had the grit marked on each, it's not/no.
