I installed this system over the weekend mainly due to my installation schedule and lack of rush. (RAM OWNER see photo) Using the "instructions" from the Boosted Motorsports YouTube installation video, I wired up the Factory Cargo Light's power cord and the bedside lamps work exactly like the Factory Lights. Key Fob and Dash Button will activate them. I strongly advise you to watch his video - you will succeed. I did not use the activated switch. The kit does not include a built-in fuse, which you need for this kit. 5 amps are enough. There is a massive amount of wiring, giving you the freedom to install these lights on the bed however you want. ((5ft 7 in bed)) I measured an additional 16ft of cord to connect to your chosen power source AFTER the bed is made. For RAM owners, my 2014 EXPRESS cargo light (WHITE 3rd brake LAMP) power wire is WHITE with BROWN tracer. The lights have a soft blue cast and I've included photos of the tailgate closed/open to give you an idea of what they look like (iPhone11 camera). 3M Tape is suitable for use without the supplied screws (provided the mounting location has been properly cleaned beforehand). I highly recommend getting a security cable (pictured) to protect your cables, as well as wire clamp holders (pictured) for a cleaner install.
