To make it work - for certain things. I powered IP cameras and RaspberryPI to make it run on power. Other than that, the power cord that comes from it doesn't seem to be connected to anything. The site says it's 10/100 but I had no connection indicator for anything I plugged it into. I believe this splitter is for USB power only and the ethernet isn't connected to anything. No problem with that - just know what you're getting. Edit: After some research with similar products - the data works but you have to manually set the ethernet port/switch to 100Mbps (not auto or gigabit) - upgrade rating to 5 stars!
