Review on microSHIFT 3X7 Speed Black Twist Grip Shift Gear Shifters - Shimano Bicycle Compatible by Tim Harris

These are absolutely useful replacement derailleurs for many 21-speed road bikes and mountain bikes. I used them to replace some SRAM MRX Comp shifters on a 2005 Giant Cypress LX. The old derailleurs were hard to turn and the cables had to be replaced and it was only a little more money than new cables without all the hard work of taking apart the derailleurs to replace the cables and lube the derailleurs. After making the necessary adjustments (see Video Park Tools on YouTube), shifting was crisp and predictable again. So why not 5 stars? There are no connectors at the ends of the cable. They're trivially expensive and do the job neatly, securing the cable ends and preventing the inevitable fraying. Also, there were no installation instructions included.
