I was planning on playing with these "cheap" softboard fins because I thought they were stronger than rubber fins. When I received them I was pleased to find that they were stiffer than the plastic nylons I had on my hardboard so I installed them on top (see photo). Foiled and a nice size, they look good and fit easily in FCS II boxes. Have ridden the tall head fins in mild Hawaiian conditions and found them to work well; positive, responsive and fast. For $10 a set I buy 2 replacement sets. I'm looking forward to seeing them drink North Shore Strong Juice, it's going to be a real litmus test. And if they don't work I never expected it to be big waves so no loss. Aloha.
