Just buy it - the newer the better!
For this El Dorado 79-85 it is becoming increasingly difficult to find quality parts. I went through 2 master cylinders in a week! Then I got AC DELCO listed here. Everything has returned to normal. My AcDelco device was made in China (NEW). The last was a reconstructed Cardone-USA unit licking out of the bore while seated.
Pros
- The piston assembly and return spring eliminate brake drag, which can lead to premature wear of the brake pads.
Cons
- The list is long.
