1996 Miata good for radiator

The best non-transverse radiator for your Miata! Simply a beautiful kit with great welding and attention to detail. Easy to install and doesn't push the radiator fans closer to the engine. I used to see 205-215F easily and now it's 194 (OEM thermostat). I use Zerex 50/50 Asian Red coolant. Begin by draining the radiator and filling it with distilled water. Remove the thermostat and reassemble without it. Now the coolant can flow immediately after starting the engine. Let it warm up to 110F or so, turn it off and drain the water. You'll need about 6 gallons of distilled water and about 4 gallons of drain and fill to flush out old dirt. Then replace the new radiator and thermostat, fill and bleed if there are air bubbles (be patient, turn off a few times and allow to warm up fully). Always install a new radiator cap and you're good to go! Update: Don't forget to close the plug next to the upper radiator hose (this is the connection for the coolant temperature sensor). Mine screams for some coolant after shutting down.
