Great radiator ideal for engine cooling and air conditioning

Nice radiator and great fit. We strongly recommend buying new $6 hardware while you're at it so you don't thread hardened old screws into threaded aluminum holes. I replaced the factory and everything fit (slightly tighter than the original but no modifications needed)

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Nothing

Need to replace my leaky radiator

Bought in January, installed in February and started leaking in March. It is extremely frustrating that I have emailed the seller, the manufacturer and Revain more times than I would like to get a replacement for my broken cooler, only to get an apology. Too bad I liked my old Koyo but I wouldn't buy another or anything else from this seller.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Weight

This is Koyorad; it fits the name.

My NA had overheating problems almost constantly; After I put that and the new hoses in, it's gone and I can fix this bad guy whenever I want; It's great that you don't have to worry about the head gasket blowing anytime soon. A NOTICE. Don't throw away the bushings and lower rubber mounting pins from your original radiator as you will need to transfer them to your Koyorad and they are very hard to come by (they are no longer made I believe).

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • old

Recommended jewelry JDM

Pretty easy craft. It is recommended to replace all silicone hoses while the coolant is out and fit a new radiator cap. Even better is replacing the water pump and timing belt as this is easier to do with the radiator from the outside. Same thickness as the original heatsink but with a narrower set of fins than the original. The standard fans match the supplied new equipment. Drops straight in, and the coolant inlet and outlet are the same as the original radiator. The Koyo is usually more…

1996 Miata good for radiator

The best non-transverse radiator for your Miata! Simply a beautiful kit with great welding and attention to detail. Easy to install and doesn't push the radiator fans closer to the engine. I used to see 205-215F easily and now it's 194 (OEM thermostat). I use Zerex 50/50 Asian Red coolant. Begin by draining the radiator and filling it with distilled water. Remove the thermostat and reassemble without it. Now the coolant can flow immediately after starting the engine. Let it warm up to 110F or…
