Review on Garmin 7-Inch Suction Cup Mount by Chris Lemm

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This should be the default.

I've never had a GPS that didn't fall off the windshield within a week of installing it where you'll spend the rest of your life licking your finger or rubbing alcohol and hard to pray it stays on once the sun comes out. I drive for a living so this is going to be a big hurdle. I've been using this for 2 maybe 3 months now? Can't complain, it works. There is no full list of pros and cons, it either gets stuck or starts falling. It doesn't fall. So either 1 or 5 stars. There are 5 stars in my book. Price? Let's face it, it shouldn't cost as much as a piece of plastic and a spring. 14 dollars? For reference, you can buy 128GB SD memory card or 2 packs of rechargeable flashlights at the same price. There are several GPS mounts on the Revain, *2* cost $8-9. Paying 70% more for a Garmin logo is unfortunate.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Only available in black
