I reviewed and compared many OBD2 tools before purchasing this one. I am very happy with my purchase. I like the bi-directional controls that help with troubleshooting. I had an issue where a certain feature specific to my truck model year was not showing up and working with customer support a solution was immediately provided with a new download. I noticed that they regularly provide updates for all makes and models and it's good that they are so actively supporting their product. The D8 immediately helped identify the exact replacement sensor in my SRS system and also helped identify any fuel inefficient. Injectors and bad FPR. I see this tool turning into savings. I also bought an XV100 inspection camera. I like it too, it works well with Xtool D8BT. The advantage of the Bluetooth model is that you can get around wirelessly, while the disadvantage is the delay caused by the Bluetooth wireless connection. I knew this before I bought the D8BT so it's not that big of a deal, it still collects and sees the same information as the non-Bluetooth model.
