Quality product with good performance. Paul Melvin is well known in the cycling community for making quality custom pieces. So they can be a bit expensive. I bought this spanner to make my "Urban Street Bike" with 3-speed hub easier to handle. Mainly so I don't have to worry about adjusting the chain to the exact length with the frame's rear hub bolts when swapping out the front sprocket, which can sometimes be PITA. I should note that I bought it back on October 5, 2011 for $57.37. It looks like the price has gone up since then, which is a bit of a shame.
