I've bought three of these in the last year and they all work very well but have range and speed limitations. but it's a fair compromise for its price. I use them on desktops so I don't have to run Cat 5 cables in every room of the house. They are very easy to set up and updated drivers are available on the Netgear website. My Cisco router is in the middle of the house so they have no trouble connecting to it and run at top speed. This is a great alternative to installing wireless cards or a quick fix for a broken built-in wireless card in an old laptop.
