Adjusts very well to wires of different gauges

Used this to make a heavy duty 6/3 strand extension cord for my 3000w crepe machine. By removing the rubber plug where the cable enters the connector, the cable fits very snugly and can be locked in place with a screw clamp. The 6 gauge wire was too big to fit in the groove so I split the stranded wires to fit either side of the screw and was able to get it working that way. Looks well built.
