Review on ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Enhanced Garmin nรผvi 255W/255WT 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator with Live Traffic Updates by Michael Santos

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best offer of GPS. Period

All in all I figured it out and it really is the best if you drive a lot. Not only does this unit come with an FM traffic receiver (much better if you live in a big city - check out the website, I live in New York) that costs [.] dollars on its own, this unit has it's own self taken great. Nice big screen, good sound, did I mention LIFETIME TRAFFIC?, and it has so many POIs. Alternatively, if the device does not have the POI you want, you can go to Google Maps, connect the device to your computer with a USB cable, and send the location to Nuvi. Eco-Route helps you save gas (create a profile and it works). better) and stop worrying about traffic reports. There are a few ads but they are worth it so you don't get stuck in traffic. Of course I live in New York and we have good coverage here, but check the website for your area. Smooth scrolling while driving and quick updates. You also get a free download of the latest maps, which takes a while but is worth the free update that costs [.]$ regularly (or you can pay [.]$ and get lifetime map updates). Do yourself a favor and buy a friction mount so thieves don't have those rings on your windshield (big problem here). So you can just put it under the seat. It doesn't have Bluetooth, but if you read the reviews on the 265wt most people will say it still stinks, and this one is [.] dollars cheaper. It also doesn't have lane assist (I can recognize lanes myself, and I suspect most of you can too) or voice recognition (it doesn't matter, but you might want that option). That's a great price. Give it a try (don't forget to add at least $[.] for the traffic sink) and you'll see that you can't get past it if you're looking for a GPS system. Garmin also does not list this model. on his site, which bothered me initially, but I had no problems with the updates [.]seems to be just the ones reflashed by Garmin with American maps. I agree, but if it really bothers you, maybe you should buy 255w and split the traffic. It's up to you to decide, but it's a lot cheaper and works like a charm. I also recommend this site for comparing models. Very informative and helped me a lot with the purchase.
