I have decided to replace the PCV valve on a used Subaru that I recently purchased. Not knowing the history of the car, and since it had over 100,000 miles on it, I figured I'd just do the typical customization items. Because the price is so low ($7), it's an item I only replace on my cars every 50,000 miles or so. The Subaru crashed at idle and was pretty rough, and now it runs much smoother. The project called for a 19mm socket and ratchet. It took a maximum of 5 minutes. I was surprised how big the difference is.
