I needed more bird feeders in my main coop. I spend $20 each on two sturdy plastic Little Giant bird feeders and my girls lie in them but don't lie down. I spent almost as much money on these bird feeders and my girls really like them. They are so easy to assemble. Of course, the bottom is thinner plywood than the rest, but my birdhouses are on a shelf, not hanging. If you don't think they are strong enough, screwing another board to the bottom is okay. Now if I can find someone to buy my plastic birdhouses.
