Considering the headphone jack on my Klipsch pod didn't work at all, I consider this a win. The power button is nothing more than a speaker unit. It still consumes full power. Only press it when you want a LOUD popping sound to come out of your speakers. With the headphones plugged in, sound still comes out of your speakers, but it's not very loud. It works, but it's not perfect. UPDATE: My rating has been changed to two stars. Control. It also upsets the balance. Too far away and one speaker stops working. Loud opping sounds grow old. I just bought the original controls off eBay and was very happy with the end result.
