SS is always better than plastic or ACRYLIC when it comes to piercings so this is a great set. Two issues though. 1) The little rubber bands to hold the plugs in are INSANELY difficult to use on the smaller sizes. I needed my wife to help put them on and take them off (even though they would fall off on their own constantly). 2) the oil bottle leaks, even before it was ever opened. So make sure you place in its own baggy and keep it sitting upright. You tip that baby over (or god forbid upside down) and you have a mess on your hands.
