There are cons - industrial switch
Pros: Very adaptable to surface mounting; Switch and housing together. Weaknesses: 1) Not easy to connect wires larger than 14 gauge. Small screws and attachment points. 2) End caps are plastic - quite fragile. One corner was broken due to the screws being slightly tightened. Plugs must be metal. I would spend half as much if I bought a regular surface mount electrical box and a regular AC switch. It would be both safer and cheaper.
