Review on 🔬 Yosoo® 6v DC DIY Dosing Pump Peristaltic Dosing Head for Aquarium & Chemical Lab Water Analysis by Claudia Corpus

I like this little pump for several reasons. This is a self-priming pump and unlike all other types of pumps I've experimented with, it doesn't require a check valve on the outlet to prevent water from backflowing through the pump when it's not running. It pumps faster than other peristaltic pumps I've tried. Although the gear drive adds some noise, I prefer it to the friction drive because I'm less concerned about wear and tear that ultimately affects reliability. The transparent cover of the pumping chamber is very convenient for inspection, and also because it is fun to watch the rotating tube rollers. I took off a star because there's no way to prevent the tubing from slowly retracting into the pumping chamber (a small amount of semi-permanent glue like RTV would probably fix this), but mainly because Yosu didn't answer my question - via Revain - regarding the type and source of replacement tubes.
