I needed to drill a 1.5" hole in a 3/8" ceramic tile countertop, I replaced it afterwards A storm shattered the glass on my patio table I bought a jigsaw blade from a big store who said it would do the job well it cut off about 1/2" and was worn out I put this on the Revain and decided to give it a try. I used a 1 1/2" to drill a hole for the umbrella stem. I made a template out of 1/2" plywood and clamped it in place. I also used water to cool it as directed. I was very pleased with the result as it drilled through 3/8" ceramic tile with ease. Haven't used the other sizes yet but I think they will do the same when used with water.
