Review on πŸ₯“ Carol Wright Gifts Tempered Glass Bacon Press: Clear and Effective for Perfectly Cooked Bacon by Ryan Pollock

Revainrating 1 out of 5

smart idea, poor execution

I've searched several sites for a bacon maker that won't scratch nonstick cookware. It looked like it would fit. BUT even a brand new one has a steel screw holding the glass top to the handle that protrudes a bit under the top and could touch the hob if you're not careful. Worse, the plastic sleeve or washer separating the screw from the glass top began to melt on first use. This loosened the grip enough that it could not be tightened again and potentially contaminate the food being cooked. We have taken the bacon press out of service.
