Doubled internet speed

Great router. I bought an Arris a few years ago, but since internet speeds have doubled, I haven't gotten the full speed that was available to me. I unpacked it, connected it and screwed the cable. If you've never had a router before, there's nothing to mess around with. I called comcast and told them I bought a new router. I gave the technician the necessary numbers and information and he installed on the phone. A piece of cake. After connecting it to my iPad, I just found the router in my settings and entered the passcode. The password is preset so it was easy to enter it under the correct WiFi name. What I love about a private router is that the password, which is the security key, is right there on the device. I figured I couldn't come up with a better one than what's on the device. I also expected not to have to deal with the hassle of forgetting my password. I could just go to my router and find the security key. If you wish, you can create your own username and password. I just couldn't be bothered. When I went online, I couldn't believe the speed boost I was getting from the device. It doubled and was lightning fast. I love it. Easy to set up, easy to use, and great that you don't have to pay anything to walk away with nothing. Wherever I move, I can take my router with me. The cost of the router compared to the cost of renting it makes you pay for it within 8 months and then it's yours. I love Arris products and have chosen them.
