NOT INCLUDED BUT. I raise my stars and my contentment!

Ok guys I reordered this item as the first one was a DUD (see original post below) and to be honest I am giving an updated review as once it is up and running, is great! Easy to set up and use the gateway is much easier compared to a modem and a router. It also felt great to be able to bring a bunch of gear back to Cox Cable and save nearly $100 a month on TV. We use a gateway to stream our TV services via Hulu/YouTube TV (we're still deciding which one to keep). This gateway runs 4 threads…

Bought due to Comcast price increase

Bought Arris SBG10 due to Comcast internet service price increase along with modem rental increase. I chose the Arris SBG10 because the modem was Comcast Arris and it worked flawlessly for 1 year. I also got a good price on the SBG10 and the 1-star to 5-star rating ratio was good. Installation required me to check in online with my cell phone or call Comcast to activate the modem, it's not just that. I was able to access the internet. After signing up and getting online, I tried several…

Great router. I bought an Arris a few years ago, but since internet speeds have doubled, I haven't gotten the full speed that was available to me. I unpacked it, connected it and screwed the cable. If you've never had a router before, there's nothing to mess around with. I called comcast and told them I bought a new router. I gave the technician the necessary numbers and information and he installed on the phone. A piece of cake. After connecting it to my iPad, I just found the router in my…

Great Comcast Wi-Fi Modem/Router Replacement and Cheapest

This is a great Comcast Wi-Fi Modem/Router replacement. It's also probably one of, if not the, cheapest replacement available at $115. This saves the $13 I paid Comcast a month, so it pays for itself in 8 months. We didn't experience any drop in performance compared to the Comcast unit and we have 4 smartphones, 2 big screen streaming TVs, 3 laptops and a desktop in a 2500 sqft two story Colonial home where many of these devices work. at times simultaneously. Also, despite what some people…
