Review on ARRIS Surfboard Certified Spectrum SBG10 by Cre Soto

Bought Arris SBG10 due to Comcast internet service price increase along with modem rental increase. I chose the Arris SBG10 because the modem was Comcast Arris and it worked flawlessly for 1 year. I also got a good price on the SBG10 and the 1-star to 5-star rating ratio was good. Installation required me to check in online with my cell phone or call Comcast to activate the modem, it's not just that. I was able to access the internet. After signing up and getting online, I tried several websites to test my speed. The SBG10 showed no difference in latency or download/upload speeds compared to the Comcast modem. I have checked it regularly at different times and on different days while it works perfectly. I've only had the device for a week, let's see how long it lasts, but so far so good. ADDITIONAL NOTE: I have noticed a number of negative reviews that applied to different Arris product models than the ones I was reviewing. These "low stars" are mixed on all Arris products, so are misleading. A good product has the same rating as a bad product because they have the same manufacturer and the same common features. It would be more helpful if reviewers included in the title the exact model they purchased if Revain is unable to set up their system. It's like saying all Fords are junk because the Edsel looks bad. Just an additional thought on reviews.
