
The "thermal tape" intended to fill the large gap between the case and the chips on the Raspberry Pi is 3M Double Coated Tissue Tape 9448A, is not thermally conductive and should not be used for a thermal sync application. According to the 3M website, "9448A Double Sided Fabric Tape. is a medium hardness acrylic adhesive system with both high initial tack and good retention at high temperatures. and] foam bonding. We bought two of these cases and now need to find a way to get them to work. We're not happy about that :-(
