Very hard and strong!
Works as advertised! I'm glad I bought this because U-Haul indicated I need a 2" hitch. After installing it on my Pathfinder, I drove to pick up my U trailer only to find that it required a 1 7/8" connector. I could just flip that hitch and I was rock n roll ready.
