🔧 Reese Towpower 7039800 Triple Ball Mount: Versatile and Universal Solution in Sleek Black Nickel Design Review

Used for towing for the first time today. I just towed a small open trailer with a safe. However, he did a great job! It's black nickel, but not black. 5 stars anyway!

Haven't pulled anything with it yet I put it on my truck two months later it's a bunch of rust nickels holds nothing like shit!

I bought this triple ball head hitch thinking it would last a long time. Excellent corrosion resistance is expected from the satin nickel finish. Unfortunately after less than 3 months it's so ugly with rust that I take it off when I'm not using it.

Works as advertised! I'm glad I bought this because U-Haul indicated I need a 2" hitch. After installing it on my Pathfinder, I drove to pick up my U trailer only to find that it required a 1 7/8" connector. I could just flip that hitch and I was rock n roll ready.

I paid extra for this Reese clutch because the finish and welds looked like the photo. I wanted a clean looking hitch and it wasn't. I'm keeping it as I had to use it today and couldn't wait for a replacement. Disappointed but it fits the description so I can't rate it too low.

Wanted to buy one of these 3 ball mounts as I figured it would be easier to carry one for my camper (2 inch) and trailer (1 7/8 inch) receiver. It works really well, never had a problem except my wife unsuspectingly got in the back of the truck and got a steel ball over her knee. I have a black car and I love how this trim suits my car.

The finish is not as dark as the photos and clearly doesn't reduce the corrosion resistance much. That thing rusts incredibly fast. After reading another person's review and realizing it was rusty, I sprayed it with oil before installing it, but it didn't help at all. I won't be returning it as it's still functional, but I wouldn't recommend it for those who value aesthetics over functionality.

First of all my package was delivered late but that's ok as I didn't need it until next weekend. I bought this particular one because of the black nickel plating and the grade V. It looked sexy based on the Revain photos. When it arrived the nickel plating had chipped off in many places. There was already rust in those places and inside the shaft. Definitely not happy with this product.

I am very pleased with the black powder coat finish and the ability to use any of the three nickel plated harnesses. balls on this device, but unfortunately their placement of those three balls is a bit pointless. The vast majority of tows performed in America are done with the standard 2" ball, but for some odd reason the folks at Reese decided to put a larger ball (2-5/16") on a 2" ball to lay. and a 1-7/8" ball, both to the side?
