Solid but rusts quickly.
The finish is not as dark as the photos and clearly doesn't reduce the corrosion resistance much. That thing rusts incredibly fast. After reading another person's review and realizing it was rusty, I sprayed it with oil before installing it, but it didn't help at all. I won't be returning it as it's still functional, but I wouldn't recommend it for those who value aesthetics over functionality.
